From its beginnings in the early 1960's, the focus of the Association has been on the business community in the neighborhood. Although the Association is expanding to include individual and resident members, the business community is the foundation of our existence. Together the residents and businesses can continue to grow the area, making East Town the best place to Live, Work & Play!

Today approximately 200 businesses located in the eastern portion of central downtown Milwaukee proudly call themselves members of the association. From large corporations to small entrepreneurial endeavors, from restaurants to banks, members come in all shapes and sizes. For more information on business membership, click here.

In 2006 we launched the individual membership component which allows us to become the conduit between the businesses and the residents in the community. If you live or work in East Town and are interested in getting involved, access to social and volunteer opportunities, timely neighborhood information, discounts to local businesses, and a little VIP treatment along the way, then you should join the East Town Association's Residential Membership.
