The members of Lubriphonic have individually toured with artists as diverse as Koko Taylor, Buddy Miles, Otis Rush, The Ohio Players, Buddy Guy and Lenny Kravitz. They have fused their talents and experience as side-men in order to create an orignal project that is soulful, unique, and exciting.

Their two 2008 releases, "Soul Solution" and "Lubriphonic Live" (the latter recorded live in a single set at aliveOne in Chicago) exemplify this. The recordings capture the band at it's best-- confident, daring, and very, very, funky. Lubriphonic fuses old-school soul music with hip shaking rock'n'roll and searing improvisation.
