Storm the Bastille

Run through the streets of Downtown Milwaukee with 5,000 of your closest friends! Runners and walkers kick off Bastille Days with the annual BMO Harris Bank Storm the Bastille 5K run/walk, in memory of the 18th century attack on the Bastille prison in Paris. The 5-K run and 2-mile walk will take place on opening night of the festival, Thursday, July 11th at 9pm. This year's 5K run/walk will begin on Jefferson & Wells. The course will lead participants through the scenic streets of downtown Milwaukee & the Historic Third Ward.

Advance Registration (Feb 5-July 10)- $20

2) Register by Mail: Download application at here. Registration must be received by June 28.
3) Register in Person: Participants may register in person at the Bastille Days office, 825 N. Jefferson St, now through July 10th (race packets are available beginning July 8th).
Race Day Registration (July 11)- $25
Runners may register the day of the race, July 11th at the Deloitte registration booth on the corner of Jefferson and Wells between 11am-8pm.
A commemorative BMO Harris Bank Storm the Bastille long-sleeved T-shirt as well as a race packet with goodies and race number will be provided to all registered runners. T-shirt sizes are guaranteed with registration by noon on June 28. Participants should be reminded that the event is a fun run and times will not be officially recorded.
Packets will be available for pick-up July 8-10 at the East Town offices, 825 N. Jefferson St. If you would like to have your packet mailed to you, please select that option in the Additional Purchase tab. There is an additional $12 charge for shipping and deadline for shipping is June 15th.

BASTILLE DAYS FACTS
Bastille Days celebrates its 32nd year in 2013.
The first Bastille Days took place July 17 & 18 in 1982.
The first Bastille Days was located on Jefferson Street directly in front of George Watts & Son.
The Storm the Bastille started in 1985.
Today Bastille Days has four stages and occupies eight city blocks.
Average participation in the BMO Harris Bank Storm the Bastille is now over 5,000!
