We are proud to partner with 91.7 WMSE to produce this event and encourage you to support this local non-profit award-winning radio station. 91.7 WMSE celebrates their 30th Anniversary in 2011. 

The 2011 Backyard BBQ – the culmination of Radio Summer Camp – happens on Sunday, July 31st. This event is our treat to you for being the most supportive, loyal listening fans in the world. It’s completely free to anyone and everyone and features phenomenal music, great summer food from some of our best pals, a kick-ass custom car show and new to this year’s event, a youth side stage featuring a few of Milwaukee’s next generation of musicians. Here are the details:

Sunday, July 31st: 
Noon – 9pm
Cathedral Square Park  

7:15pm – The Budos Band
5:30pm – Whitney Moran and the 78′s
4:00pm – Jambalaya Brass Band
2:30pm – Two Cow Garage
1:10pm – Will Phalen & the Stereo Addicts
Noon – The Uptown Savages

Food Vendors:
These great local restaurants and caterers provide the BBQ portion of the Backyard BBQ (note also that there will be a hefty amount of Riverwest Stein).

Finally, as we did last year, Jefferson Street will play host to a custom car and bike show with pinstripers on hand to, well, pinstripe whatever it is that you want pinstriped.
