Presented by the East Town and Historic Third Ward Associations, the 19-year-old Gallery Night has grown into the premier art event in Milwaukee for both the experienced artist and the beginning admirer. The quarterly event generally has 50-70 venues throughout the downtown area that participate in each event. The two-day event spans a Friday evening and generally runs through Saturday afternoon. Coordinating 12-foot "Gallery Night" flags identify the event's participants. The event offers free parking in the Historic Third Ward parking structures. Additionally, guests can take the Friday Night Gallery Night Xpress for FREE! The 3-stop route runs from the Third Ward to East Town to the Milwaukee Art Museum. The 20-passenger bus makes a continuous loop from 5 to 9pm with stops every 15 minutes. Remaining 2008 dates of Gallery Night and Day are July 25 & 26 and October 17 & 18.
